Philips game machine

The Philips Compact Disc Interactive was a game, multimedia, and audio player controlled via a TV screen. The interface was operable with multiple remote controls including thumb joysticks, a 4-way slider, and 4-way cursor buttons.
The process to design the interface included user testing to refine the compatibility of the devices and the on-screen visuals. The screen designs needed to have the depth and richness of TV graphics while using very restrictive memory and processing capabilities.
