Nokia interactive hotel TV

Part of the larger Nokia Consumer Electronics activity was the review and redesign of Guestlink, Nokia's european interactive hotel TV system.

The team conducted field interviews with hotel users, as well as with all the hotel personnel that had any involvement with the system, from reception, to concierge and cleaning staff. They recommended enhancements on the overall marketing of the service, the remote control, and the actual screen interactive flows and designs. The output was a concept that could work on both teletext-based systems as well as graphically-enhanced systems.

my role: project leader and lead interaction designer. I participated in the user research and documentation, and designed all interactions and visuals.
