Introduction

Many new skills are emerging in design, technology and eBusiness. Web development is a complex, interdisciplinary and collaborative activity. There is a great deal of overlap between disciplines, and people are using different terms to mean the same thing. The best way to explain my capabilities is to define them.

I am an experience designer with 14 years of practice and a proven track record of creating highly functional products and services across a diverse range of applications.

I have leadership and consultancy skills that can be applied to scoping projects, handling clients, mentoring juniors and leading teams.

My analytical and visual skills lend themselves to information architecture and interaction design within highly functional applications and websites.

I have built up an understanding of the cognitive abilities of users through usability processes and techniques such as observation, focus groups, scenarios, and user testing.
